Apple has released iOS 26 and iPadOS 26, featuring a redesigned interface dubbed "Liquid Glass," improved phone app, live translation, and customizable lock screens. The update is available for iPhones released in 2019 and later, and select iPads. Older iPhones, including the iPhone XR, XS, and XS Max, are not compatible, but will receive iOS 18.7 for security updates. New features include a redesigned phone app with Hold Assist, live translation, in-chat polls, and adjustable snooze times.
