Lions Rout Bears in Johnson's Return | JQJO

The Detroit Lions crushed the Chicago Bears 52-21 in Week 2, a resounding victory fueled by the return of former offensive coordinator Ben Johnson. Lions players expressed feelings of betrayal over Johnson's departure to a division rival. Detroit's dominant performance, highlighted by 511 total yards and a strong offensive showing, overshadowed the late-game touchdown that prompted discussion about whether the Lions were running up the score. Johnson defended the Lions' decision to go for it on fourth-and-goal.
