Romania becomes second Nato country to detect Russian drones in airspace

Romania confirmed a Russian drone violated its airspace, marking the second NATO country to report such an incident after Poland. Romanian F-16 jets tracked the drone near the Ukrainian border during a Russian attack. While the drone didn't enter populated areas, Ukrainian President Zelensky called it a deliberate escalation of the war. Poland also reported downed Russian drones earlier this week, prompting increased military readiness. The Czech Republic deployed helicopters to Poland in response to the incursions.
