DC Comics canceled its newly released "Red Hood" comic book series following controversial social media posts by author Gretchen Felker-Martin regarding the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. Felker-Martin's comments, since deleted, were perceived as promoting hostility. DC stated that such posts are inconsistent with their conduct standards. The series, featuring the Batman character Red Hood, was released just Wednesday and had planned issues through June 2024 and a second volume to December 2026.
