Netflix unveils the trailer for "The Rip," a crime thriller directed by Joe Carnahan and starring Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. The film, inspired by a Miami narcotics officer's experiences and 70s cop thrillers, follows a team of Miami cops whose trust erodes after discovering millions in cash. The star-studded cast also includes Steven Yeun, Teyana Taylor, and Kyle Chandler. Damon and Affleck also produce the film, set for release on Netflix January 16, 2026.
