A new action thriller, "The Rip," directed by Joe Carnahan and starring Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, and Steven Yeun, will premiere on Netflix January 16, 2026. The film follows a team of Miami cops who discover millions of dollars in a stash house, leading to fractured trust and escalating danger. Inspired by a real-life experience and classic 70s cop thrillers, "The Rip" is a collaboration between Netflix and Damon & Affleck's Artists Equity.
