Modded hardware seller Ryan Daly will pay Nintendo $2 million after a settlement in a Washington court. Daly, who represented himself, sold devices and software to circumvent Nintendo Switch's technological protection measures and copied copyrighted games. Despite an initial agreement to cease sales, Daly continued, prompting the lawsuit. The judgment bars Daly from further infringement and transfers his domain name to Nintendo. This follows Nintendo's previous $4.5 million settlement with Team Xecuter's Gary Bowser.
