US Open Delays Anger Fans | JQJO

Delays at the US Open men's final caused significant frustration among fans. Enhanced security measures due to President Trump's presence resulted in a half-hour postponement and long lines. Thousands were still outside Arthur Ashe Stadium when the match began, despite the USTA claiming to have sent email and app notifications. Fans expressed anger at the lack of communication regarding the extensive wait times, which many didn't learn about until they arrived. The Secret Service acknowledged the delays, attributing them to necessary security protocols.
