Over 91,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee plug-in hybrid SUVs (2022-2026 models) are being recalled due to a software glitch in the hybrid control processor. This defect may cause a sudden loss of drive power, potentially leading to accidents. Chrysler, unaware of any related injuries or accidents as of August 18th, is developing a remedy. Recall notices will be mailed from October 23rd, and affected vehicles can be identified via VIN on the NHTSA website from September 11th. Owners can also contact Chrysler customer service.
