Following a large-scale US immigration raid at a Hyundai-LG battery plant in Georgia, approximately 300 detained South Korean workers will be repatriated via chartered flight. Negotiations between South Korean officials and US authorities secured their release. The South Korean government plans to review and improve its visa system to prevent future incidents, while companies involved are cooperating fully. The raid, one of the largest in recent US history, resulted in the detention of 475 individuals.
