Argentine authorities recovered an 18th-century painting, "Portrait of a Lady," stolen by Nazis over 80 years ago. The painting, by Giuseppe Ghislandi, was discovered by chance in a real estate listing belonging to the daughter of a late Nazi financier, Patricia Kadgien, who is now under house arrest with her husband, facing charges of concealment and obstruction of justice. The Dutch newspaper AD initiated the investigation after spotting the artwork online. Authorities also found other potentially looted artwork during subsequent raids. Goudstikker's heirs aim to reclaim the painting.
