Acer's new Chromebook Plus Spin 514, featuring the MediaTek Kompanio Ultra 910 processor, offers a compelling alternative to the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14. This $699.99 convertible boasts a 14-inch touchscreen with Gorilla Glass and USI 2.0 stylus support. While its display isn't as vibrant, it compensates with superior ports (including two 10Gbps USB-C and two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2), a larger 70Wh battery, and Wi-Fi 7. However, the lack of a side-mounted power button and its less impressive speakers are drawbacks.
