Hawaii's Kilauea volcano erupted again, sending lava 500 feet high for 13 hours. This was the 32nd eruption since December, producing 337 million cubic feet of lava. The eruption, contained within the crater at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, caused no injuries but released significant volcanic gas, including 55,000 tons of sulfur dioxide, posing potential respiratory hazards. Lava flows covered 40-50% of the crater floor and could continue moving slowly. Volcanic glass fragments also pose a hazard.
