Powerball jackpot jumps to an estimated $1.1 billion after no winning tickets in Saturday's drawing

The Powerball jackpot has soared to a staggering $1.1 billion, the fifth largest in history, after no one won Saturday's $1 billion prize. The winning numbers were 3, 18, 22, 27, 33, and the Powerball was 17. Nine tickets matched five numbers, winning $1 million each. The $1.1 billion jackpot offers a cash option of $498.4 million before taxes, or an annuity with increasing annual payments. This marks the sixth time the prize has hit $1 billion. The next drawing is Monday night.
