Guillermo del Toro's highly anticipated Frankenstein film premiered at the Venice Film Festival, receiving a 15-minute standing ovation. The movie, adapted from Mary Shelley's classic novel, stars Oscar Isaac as Dr. Frankenstein and Jacob Elordi as the creature. Del Toro, a previous Golden Lion and Oscar winner, described his lifelong fascination with the story. Netflix will release the film in November.
