Australia expels Iranian diplomats, accuses country of directing antisemitic arson attacks

Australia severed diplomatic ties with Iran after its intelligence agency, ASIO, concluded Iran orchestrated two antisemitic attacks: an arson at a kosher food company and a synagogue. Prime Minister Albanese stated Iran directed these attacks, aiming to disrupt Australian society. Iran denies the accusations. Australia expelled Iran's ambassador, issued a 'do not travel' advisory for Iran, and plans to officially label Iran's Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organization. This action follows increased antisemitic incidents in Australia since the Israel-Hamas war and comes after criticism from Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.
