The Las Vegas Raiders traded for Kenny Pickett, a quarterback with experience, after their backup quarterback, Aidan O'Connell, suffered a wrist injury. The Raiders sent a 2026 fifth-round pick to the Cleveland Browns in exchange. Pickett, a former first-round pick, has played in 30 career games and will now back up Geno Smith. This move comes after the Raiders' coach expressed a need for an experienced backup quarterback. The Browns, meanwhile, are left with two rookie quarterbacks behind their starter, Joe Flacco.
