Germany's Klingbeil visits Ukraine, vows security guarantees

German Vice Chancellor Lars Klingbeil reaffirmed Germany's unwavering support for Ukraine during a recent Kyiv visit. He announced €9 billion in aid for 2025-2026, emphasizing the need for a strong Ukrainian army and increased domestic arms production for self-defense. Klingbeil stressed the importance of security guarantees to deter further Russian aggression, urging Putin to pursue peace and including Ukraine in future talks. Despite recent US-Russia talks yielding no results, Germany remains Ukraine's largest European supporter, pledging continued financial and military aid.
