Performers hit west London for main parade

Notting Hill Carnival's second day was a vibrant display of Caribbean culture, attracting thousands in sunny west London. The main parade featured dazzling costumes and music from around the world, celebrating over 50 years of tradition. Performers showcased elaborate outfits, some adorned with hundreds of jewels. Attendees praised the event's multicultural atmosphere, while organizers highlighted the importance of funding to maintain safety and the spectacular nature of the parade. A 72-second silence honored those lost in the Grenfell Tower fire and at past Carnivals. Massive clean-up efforts followed the festivities.
