Apple's upcoming iOS 26 update enables 25W wireless charging via Qi 2.2 for iPhone 16 models (except the 16e). This means third-party Qi 2.2 chargers can now achieve the same speeds as Apple's MagSafe charger. Belkin has released three new Qi2 25W charging stands to take advantage of this. The update, currently in beta, allows for 0-50% charging in about 30 minutes. While official Qi 2.2 certification is pending, it's expected by iOS 26's September release. The update strongly suggests the iPhone 17 series will also support Qi 2.2.
