Diego Borella, an assistant director on the Netflix show "Emily in Paris," tragically died at age 47. He collapsed during filming of the fifth season in Venice, Italy. Medical staff attempted resuscitation, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, likely from a sudden heart attack. Following this devastating event, Netflix has temporarily suspended production of the series. Borella was a respected professional with experience in Rome, London, and New York, also working in visual arts and literature.
