Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons, unhappy with his contract, requested a trade on August 1st. Since then, there's been little progress in negotiations. Parsons removed all Cowboys references from his social media, posting a Penn State photo and a Bible verse instead. Owner Jerry Jones, meanwhile, has been outspoken, claiming a handshake agreement existed and challenging Parsons to sit out the season. Parsons is under contract for $24 million in 2025, with franchise tag options for 2026 and 2027.
