Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Todd Bowles announced that wide receiver Chris Godwin and left tackle Tristan Wirfs will be activated from the physically unable to perform (PUP) list before the roster cuts. Both players have been injured; Wirfs with a knee injury. While activated, neither is expected to play in the first few weeks of the season. Activating them allows for quicker rehabilitation and practice participation, even if it means the team starts the season slightly understaffed.
