Owen Caissie's homer and three RBIs led the Chicago Cubs to a 6-4 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers in the opener of a split doubleheader. Willi Castro also homered for the Cubs, who rallied after the Brewers chipped away at their early 5-0 lead. Four Cubs relievers combined to hold the Brewers' offense in check after starter Matthew Boyd's departure. The win brings Chicago within eight games of the NL Central-leading Brewers.
