The Duffer brothers, creators of Netflix's Stranger Things, have signed a four-year exclusive deal with Paramount. The deal covers film, TV, and streaming projects, allowing them to pursue large-scale theatrical films. This move follows reports of the brothers leaving Netflix after their current deal concludes in April 2026. The Duffers will develop projects under their Upside Down Pictures banner, reuniting with former Netflix colleagues at Paramount. While they will continue involvement in existing Netflix projects, their primary focus at Paramount will be new material.
