Air Canada reaches deal with union to end flight attendants' strike

Air Canada has reached a tentative agreement with its 10,000 striking flight attendants, ending a weekend-long disruption that affected hundreds of thousands of travelers. Flights will gradually resume Tuesday evening, but full service restoration may take up to 10 days. The agreement addresses flight attendants' pay for ground work, a key sticking point. The strike, deemed illegal by the Canada Industrial Relations Board, saw Air Canada cancel over 2,500 flights. Passengers can request refunds for disrupted flights.
