Phillies' Aaron Nola allows six runs in return from injured list

Phillies pitcher Aaron Nola's return from injury was short-lived. In his first start after three months out with a sprained ankle and fractured rib, he allowed six runs in 2⅓ innings, his outing cut short after seven consecutive batters reached base. The Phillies, already without ace Zack Wheeler due to a blood clot, saw Nola's ERA rise to 6.92. Despite Nola's struggles, the Phillies won 11-9, boosted by Alec Bohm's return and three-run homer after his own rib fracture.
