Dan Tana, the 90-year-old founder of the iconic West Hollywood restaurant Dan Tana's, has passed away. The restaurant, a beloved Los Angeles institution since 1964, announced his death on Facebook. Tana, a former maitre d' at other famed restaurants, created a late-night haven for Hollywood stars. He sold the restaurant in 2009 but was pleased to see its unique atmosphere and menu preserved. Dan Tana's, known for its intimate setting and celebrity clientele, continues to operate under new ownership.
