Nintendo's adoption of microSD Express for the Switch 2 spurred innovation in fast, removable storage. Chinese firm Biwin unveiled a "Mini SSD," a 15x17mm card boasting read speeds up to 3700MB/s via a two-lane PCI Express 4.0 interface. This surpasses current microSD Express cards, which typically reach around 900MB/s. The Mini SSD, showcased in March, is compatible with devices like the GPD Win 5 and OneXPlayer Super X, offering capacities from 500GB to 2TB.
