NCAA hands Michigan fine, suspends coach Sherrone Moore in sign-stealing investigation

The NCAA handed down penalties to the University of Michigan for a sign-stealing scandal. Michigan will forfeit postseason revenue for two years and pay a fine. Head coach Sherrone Moore received a three-game suspension. Former coach Jim Harbaugh received a 10-year show-cause order, effectively ending his college coaching career. Former staffer Connor Stalions, the central figure, received an eight-year show-cause order. Despite the scandal, Michigan will not face a postseason ban or vacate wins.
