A team of mountaineers is attempting to recover the body of Chinese climber Guan Jing from K2, the world's second-highest peak, after bad weather prevented helicopter rescue. Jing died on Tuesday after falling rocks struck her during her descent. Her body is located between 330 and 500 feet above base camp. A Nepali Sherpa sent to retrieve the body was injured and rescued. K2 is known for its dangerous conditions, with a higher fatality rate than Mount Everest. This is the latest in a series of recent climbing fatalities on the mountain.
