The Big 12 Conference announced it will release player availability reports for football and men's and women's basketball before all conference games, starting this season. Football teams will submit daily reports three days pre-game, while basketball teams will submit reports the night before. Players will be categorized as available, probable, questionable, doubtful, or out (football) or available, game-time decision, or out (basketball). This follows similar initiatives by other Power Five conferences, aiming to reduce betting-related harassment of athletes.
