Israel said in talks with Indonesia, Libya, 3 more countries about taking in Gazans

Israel is negotiating with five countries – Indonesia, Somaliland, Uganda, South Sudan, and Libya – to potentially resettle Palestinians from Gaza. Indonesia and Somaliland show particular openness. While Israel promotes mass emigration from Gaza, South Sudan denied involvement in such discussions. Deputy Foreign Minister Sharren Haskel visited South Sudan, signing a diplomatic MOU. Prime Minister Netanyahu supports the plan, citing the need for receiving countries. However, Palestinians, rights groups, and Egypt oppose the plan, fearing forced expulsion and refugee influxes.
