A biopic chronicling the early life and career of the late Sinéad O'Connor is in development. The film, backed by BBC Film and prominent production companies including See-Saw Films and Nine Daughters, will focus on O'Connor's rise to fame and her activism. Directed by Josephine Decker and written by Stacey Gregg, the biopic will explore how O'Connor's talent intertwined with her outspoken advocacy against the Catholic Church and the Irish state. The project builds upon the success of the recent documentary "Nothing Compares."
