The 2025 Perseid meteor shower peaked on August 12-13, offering a spectacular display despite a waning gibbous moon. Photographers worldwide captured stunning images of meteors, some alongside auroras and iconic landmarks. The shower, caused by Earth passing through debris from comet 109P/Swift-Tuttle, produced numerous bright meteors visible even with the moonlight. While the peak has passed, Perseids remain visible until August 23.
