Israel is in talks to possibly resettle Palestinians from Gaza in South Sudan

Israel is reportedly negotiating with South Sudan to resettle Palestinians from Gaza, a plan stemming from Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's aim to realize President Trump's vision of mass emigration from Gaza. While details remain unclear, the proposal raises significant human rights concerns, involving relocation from one war-torn, famine-stricken area to another. Palestinians, rights groups, and much of the international community oppose the plan, viewing it as a violation of international law. South Sudan's foreign ministry denies involvement, and Egypt strongly opposes the resettlement.
