Vulcan Rocket Launches First Operational USSF Mission | JQJO

The US Space Force will launch its first operational mission using United Launch Alliance's Vulcan rocket on Tuesday at 7:59 pm EDT from Cape Canaveral. This launch, designated USSF-106, carries an experimental military navigation satellite and other undisclosed payloads into geosynchronous orbit. The Vulcan rocket, following two successful test flights in 2024, incorporates four larger solid rocket boosters. This marks the beginning of over 70 planned Vulcan launches for commercial and government clients, with Amazon and the US Space Force as major users.
