Melting ice reveals remains of Antarctic researcher who vanished 66 years ago

The remains of British researcher Dennis Bell, lost in an Antarctic crevasse in 1959, have been recovered after 66 years. A Polish team found his remains and personal belongings on King George Island as the glacier retreated. DNA confirmed the identity, bringing closure to his family.
