Al Jazeera journalist Anas al-Sharif and three colleagues were killed in a targeted Israeli attack on a Gaza City media tent. Al-Sharif, a well-known correspondent, had recently reported on intense Israeli bombardment. Israel claims al-Sharif was a Hamas member, a claim refuted by colleagues and human rights monitors. This incident is the latest in a series of attacks against journalists in Gaza, with over 200 media workers killed since October 2023.
