Unimaginable peace: Azerbaijan and Armenia sign historic agreement after decades of conflict

Armenia and Azerbaijan signed a peace agreement in Washington D.C., mediated by US President Donald Trump, ending decades of conflict over the Karabakh region. The agreement establishes a new transit corridor, dubbed the "Trump Route," connecting Azerbaijan and its Nakhchivan exclave through Armenian territory. This route will boost trade and economic ties for both nations. The signing also dissolved the OSCE Minsk Group, signifying a shift away from Russian influence and towards closer relations with the West. The agreement marks a significant geopolitical change in the South Caucasus, benefiting the US economically and strategically.
