Steelers rookie quarterback Will Howard fractured his hand in practice and will miss at least three weeks, according to NFL Media. The injury occurred during a practice drill. Further tests are planned, but surgery isn't anticipated. Howard, a sixth-round draft pick, is currently the third-string quarterback behind Aaron Rodgers and Mason Rudolph. The Steelers haven't announced whether they will sign another quarterback to fill the roster spot during Howard's absence.
