Boone's Williams Decision Costs Yankees Another Loss | JQJO

Yankees manager Aaron Boone's decision to use struggling reliever Devin Williams in a crucial eighth inning backfired, leading to two runs and a fifth straight loss. Williams, who has a 5.44 ERA and has allowed runs in six of his last eight appearances, continues to struggle. Boone's decision was questioned, as other relievers were available. Williams himself admitted to not knowing how to fix his issues, but expressed a desire to continue working and contributing to the team. His future role remains uncertain.
