Shedeur Sanders, Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback, will start their preseason opener against the Carolina Panthers. Coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed Sanders' start, despite initially being noncommittal. Tyler Huntley, a recent Browns signee, may also play. Veteran Joe Flacco will sit out. The Panthers' Bryce Young, unlike last year, will also start their game, aiming to improve on his rookie season. Both teams' starters are expected limited playing time.
