Lady Gaga leads the 2025 MTV VMA nominations with 12 nods, followed by Bruno Mars (11) and Kendrick Lamar (10). Rosé and Sabrina Carpenter earned eight nominations each. The awards ceremony will be held September 7th at the USB Arena in New York City, simulcast on CBS and MTV, and streamed on Paramount+. New categories this year include Best Country and Best Pop Artist. The Video of the Year and Artist of the Year categories feature a diverse range of artists.
