NFLPA Names Interim Director After Controversial Resignation | JQJO

The NFL Players Association (NFLPA) has appointed David White as its interim executive director. White was the runner-up in the 2023 search that ultimately resulted in the short-lived tenure of Lloyd Howell. The decision follows Howell's abrupt resignation amidst controversy. The NFLPA stated the choice was the result of a player-led process aiming to provide stability before a thorough search for a permanent director begins. White, formerly with SAG-AFTRA, brings extensive experience in labor negotiations and is committed to prioritizing player interests.
