Trey Lance, in his third NFL team, showcased his potential in the Hall of Fame Game, leading the Los Angeles Chargers to a 34-7 victory over the Detroit Lions. Lance threw for 120 yards and two touchdowns. Both teams rested many starters, including Justin Herbert for the Chargers and Jared Goff for the Lions.
