Square Enix revealed Octopath Traveler III, titled Octopath Traveler 0, launching December 4, 2025, for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. This entry introduces customizable characters and a town rebuilding mechanic after a devastating fire. The game retains the series' HD-2D visuals, turn-based combat (with Break & Boost system), and features over 30 recruitable party members. A new HD-2D action RPG, The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, was also announced.
