Wilkins' Release: Injuries, Incident Fuel Raiders' Decision | JQJO

Raiders' release of Christian Wilkins stems from a complex situation involving multiple foot injuries, a refusal of surgery, and a locker room incident. Wilkins reportedly suffered a second foot injury, refusing surgery despite doctors' recommendations, leading to a fractured relationship with the Raiders. A separate incident involving a teammate further complicated matters, potentially cited by the Raiders as a reason for the release. Wilkins' grievance process is expected to be lengthy, potentially impacting the Raiders' salary cap. While some teams express interest, others, like the Giants, remain hesitant due to concerns beyond his injuries.
