Foo Fighters have appointed Ilan Rubin as their new drummer, following the departure of Josh Freese just two months ago. Rubin, known for his work with Nine Inch Nails and Angels & Airwaves, will be taking on the role, while Freese will be rejoining Nine Inch Nails. The change comes shortly before Nine Inch Nails' major North American tour. It's unclear if Rubin's role will be permanent or temporary. The Foo Fighters' next shows are scheduled for October.
