A Palestinian teacher, Odeh Hathaleen, who assisted in filming the Oscar-winning documentary "No Other Land," was shot dead by an Israeli settler, Yinon Levy, in Umm Al-Khair village in the occupied West Bank. According to witnesses, the incident followed a dispute involving a bulldozer damaging Palestinian property. Levy, who is sanctioned by the UK, was briefly detained but released under house arrest. Israeli police are investigating, while several Palestinians and foreign nationals were also detained. Hathaleen's death sparked international condemnation.
